What makes a great meeting space?

We have been looking closely at what you need in a great meeting space. This has been at the core of the developments we have made over the past 12 months. At Werks Central we have built our new meeting rooms in and around our café.

We have also developed multi use spaces that can be either a meeting room, an event space or a theatre space. More choice means more opportunity. In addition we offer convenience. You can order coffees and teas, cakes and sandwiches to be delivered to your meeting allowing you to concentrate on your meeting and allowing us to do the rest. Look on our website to see how easy it is to book a meeting with us.

We’re sponsoring Mile Oak U8s football team!

A few weeks back, we announced our sponsorship of Mile Oak U8’s football team, who have just started their first ever season! We’re so glad to have been offered this amazing opportunity to show support for our local community, which we’re really, really passionate about – Brighton & Hove and the people in it are the heart and soul of what we do, so this was really a no brainer for us (also, we think our logo looks amazing on the kit, but we might be a bit biased!).

So, without further ado, let us introduce you to the wonderful Mile Oak U8’s football team and their coach, Nick…

How’s the start of the season been so far?

As we’re a new team, we are a bit behind the others that have been playing for 1-2 years already! We have had a bit of a slow start but the team is improving week in week out and we’re all very hopeful for the future.

How do you get the team ready for a match? Is there a favourite warm up or game?

Warm ups are extremely important to avoid injury and boost morale. The team love to play Piggy in The Middle which is a great passing game!

What kind of skills do the children take away from being part of a team?

By being part of a team it can really help with their confidence and it teaches them to listen, work hard and show respect for eachother. They can also build really good friendships through football which really can last a lifetime.

How has sponsorship helped?

The sponsorship from The Werks Group has been fantastic. It’s allowed us to purchase a match kit which makes the kids feel part of a team, and it also helps to keep it affordable for the parents by keeping the sign up fee low.

We’ll be sharing updates on the team’s season across our social media, so do give us a follow on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to stay in the loop!
