How did you end up at Pop Up Asia?

On the 12th November, I had the honour of undertaking the keynote address for the Pop up Asia international forum in Taipei. The event was held in the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park and I was there to present a talk about creative spaces.

It was fantastic to be able to talk about creativity, space and learning and was an experience I will never forget. Whilst there, I also helped judge a new craft award which was a privilege!

What were your thoughts on the event?

It was an amazing event! There were over 200 creative practices exhibiting as well as various practical workshops. The event itself was extremely well organised and showcased some fantastic creative work from around Asia.

With targeted support lectures, competitions, workshops, business to business matching and much more, it was wonderful to see the work of current creatives working in Asia. There is so much to learn and implement back in the UK and the Asian market is a really interesting one!
