Our new addition to The Werks Co-working area!
Why not take a break from the office and experience one our brand new Skype booths – private, comfy, cosy and perfect for video meetings and phone calls. These skype booths have only recently been completed and are part of our ground floor co-working area and kitchen. Pop downstairs and check them out!

As you know, we have made some very big changes lately to try and reduce our carbon footprint across all of our buildings. Over at The Werks, we made several changes in January including 126 lights being replaced. Since these changes, figures show a reduction in monitored energy usage of just over 50%. Since the changes at West Werks in April, over 1.3MWh has been generated, offsetting over 500kg of carbon emissions. At Werks Central, 261 lights were changed to LED. These will lower the buildings carbon footprint by another 11 tonnes annually. Finally, the work done over at Pier Werks will reduce the buildings carbon footprint by over 7 tonnes a year. Thanks to BHESCO for the great work!!!

Up at Print Werks, our new building at 1 St James Mews, we have put up our new sign. Set just back from the hustle and bustle of St James Street in Kemptown, this building is a wonderful setting for craft makers to share space within this dedicated makers building. This is a very unique building for practitioners making unique work and we are delighted to now have the sign up above the door!

Our brilliant new skylight is now fitted in our Atrium over at Pier Werks. The Atrium is our brand new desk space and co-working area with recently laid wooden floor, brand new desks and chairs and our fabulous skylight. The skylight was fitted by Stanmer Glazing.

One of our clients from West Werks, “Constant Fire and Electrical LTD” have just completed upgrading the lighting within The Werks and Werks Central to LED lighting working along side BHESCO. These new lights look much better and bring brightness to every room. They have also just received great news that BHESCO would like them to replace the existing lighting within Piers Werks too. With an estimated total of 300 light fittings to replace overall, this will make a big saving to ongoing energy costs and a huge difference to the environment.

We have received the figures from our recycling in every building across 2015. At The Werks, we saved the equivalent to 28 trees, at West Werks we saved 31 trees, Werks Central we saved 49 trees and at Pier Werks we saved 50 trees. Thank you all for helping us to achieve these impressive statistics and therefore keeping The Werks Group green.
